The certificate for the Bronze Military Merit Medal on the ribbon of the Military Merit Cross is made out to Oberleutnant (first lieutenant) Hugo Gally in the Reserve of Infantry Regiment No. 59. It was granted for outstanding services in the railway aspect of the war. The certificate is dated to Vienna on February 22, 1916.
Measuring 290 mm (w) x 437 mm (h), presenting two folding creases, light creasing, and minimal fraying of the edges, remains better than very fine.
