An unusual medal bar, comprising three decorations:
St. Alexander, in silver with white enamelled arms, the obverse medallion in red enamels encircled by a white enamel ring inscribed СЪ НАМИ БОГЪ, the reverse bearing the date 19 ФЕВРАЛЪ 1878 in the center, measures 38.2mm (w) x 45.2mm (h), ring marked with FR maker mark denoting Rothe manufacture, with an A denoting Viennese manufacture, knock and gash at 7 o’clock of the obverse medallion, dark patina, enamel wear to reverse 6 o’clock arm and the reverse medallion, notable wear, in better than fine condition.
A Medal for the Serbian-Bulgarian War, 1885, in silver, bearing the bulgaria coat of arms on the obverse, the reverse inscribed ВЪ ПАМЯТЬ СЛАВНОЙ 1885 КОМПАНИИ, measures 32.3mm (w) x 37.7mm (h), light contact, in very fine condition.
An Italian Brigata Estense Medal, 1863, in bronze, obverse featuring the bust of Duke Francesco V, the reverse with the inscription FIDELITATI ET CONSTANTIAE IN ADVERSIS MDCCCLXIII, measures 33.5mm (w) x 39.1mm (h), dark patina, in very fine condition.
The medals have been removed from their ribbon bar, which bears the three proper ribbons and swing pin on reverse 94.8mm (w) x 40.5mm (h - top to base of metal), discolouration and fraying to ribbons, in fine condition.
