A signed photograph of William Avery Bishop (1894-1956). A portrait of Lieutenant Colonel W.A Bishop featuring a brief biography and a quoted excerpt. The portrait measures at 17cm (w) x 24.5cm (l), it features minor tears and rips to the edges but overall is in very fine condition.
Footnote: Billy Bishop (1894-1956) was the top Canadian Flying Ace of the First World War. He is a recipient of the Victoria Cross and is credited with shooting down 72 German Aircrafts.
