An unused 1944 tear-away calendar from the Northern Electric Company Limited, consisting of a stiff, wooden, backer with a dark blue faux leather exterior, along with a tear-away page for each day of the calendar year. Each page features a small print of the previous month, the current month, as well as the next month, along with the day and dates of each month. Each light blue paper page features the day of the month along with a daily schedule from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. The top page features an advertisement from the Northern Electric Co. Limited about their services to aid the war effort. The last three pages of the calendar provide a list of items the Northern Electric Company Limited was able to produce at the time, again, to help the war effort. It measures 140 mm (w) x 215 mm (l) x 30 mm (h) and is contained in its original shipping cardstock box addressed to Mr. Lee Griffin residing on New Sarum, Ontario, RR3, St. Thomas. It is decorated with a printed bow and features two stamps, a 3 cents stamp, and a 4 cents stamp, depicting King George VI.
