A medal bar consisting of an Order of the Lion of Finland, Civil Division, Knight, composed of silver gilt with white and red enamel, the obverse presenting a rampant lion on a red enamelled field, marks on the suspension ring present 813H denoting 1895-1972 manufacture, R7 date mark denoting 1970, Helsinki town mark, a crown inside a heart indicating Finnish manufacture, and a makers mark identifying A. Tillander of Helsinki, measures 41.03mm (w) x 45.61mm (h – inclusive of integral ring), two large chips to enamel on reverse, otherwise enamel intact, dark patina, scattered gilt wear, near very fine condition; An Order of the Cross of Liberty, Medal of Liberty, II Class, bronze, the obverse is inscribed URHEUDESTA FOR TAPPERHET (For Bravery), the reverse is inscribed SUOMEN KANSALTA (from the Finnish People) and dated 1941, measuring 30.31mm (w) x 35.37mm (h – inclusive of integral suspension ring), worn on original ribbon, dark patina, better than very fine condition; Winter War Medal, Type III, composed of blackened iron, the reverse is inscribed KUNNIA ISANMAA (Honour Fatherland), measures 31.37mm (w) x 39.29mm (h – inclusive of integral suspension ring), on original ribbon with crossed swords device denoting participation in combat, light contact around edges, extremely fine condition; Commemorative Medal for the Continuation War, bronze gilt, the obverse is inscribed ISANMAA 1941-1945 (Fatherland), measures 30.99mm (w) x 34.75mm (h – inclusive of integral suspension ring), light contact marks, light wear to gilt on reverse, worn on original ribbon, very fine condition; 5th (Linx) Division Cross, composed of iron, the obverse presents a left facing Linx head, reverse is inscribed 1941 5 1944 D, measures 40.79mm (w) x 44.29mm (h – inclusive of integral ring), worn on original ribbon, dark patina, very fine condition. All medals are connected to a horizontal bar with a single pin and clasp, the bar measures 123.36mm (w), clasp is bent locking pin in position, overall very fine condition.
Accompanied by a leather wallet, composed of variously coloured leather, interior zipper and cord, measures 99.57mm (w) x 138.79mm (h), interior has three pockets and one zippered pocket, light wear, functional zipper, lightly stained on obverse, very fine condition.
