Constructed of matte silvered magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching an HJ insignia, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/46” for Wilhelm Schröder, Lüdenscheid, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating minor and sporadic loss of finish throughout the base metal, in near extremely fine condition.
