1 A Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ) Proficiency Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a Sig rune, bearing a central mobile swastika circumscribed by an inscription of “FÜR LEISTUNGEN IM D.J.” (“FOR MERIT IN THE D.J.”), the reverse with a vertical pinback, marked with a “B” indicating a replacement piece, also marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/15” for Ferdinand Hoffstätter, Bonn, measuring 29.90 mm (w) x 44.57 mm (h), demonstrating moderate loss of silver finish, in near extremely fine condition.
2. An HJ Proficiency Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a Tyr rune, bearing a central mobile swastika circumscribed by an inscription of “FÜR LEISTUNGEN IN DER H.J.” (“FOR MERIT IN THE H.J.”), the reverse with a vertical pinback, marked with a “B” indicating a replacement piece, also marked with an RZM logo and maker code “M1/35” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 30.96 mm (w) x 51.69 mm (h), demonstrating loss of silver finish throughout, in very fine condition.
