1. A Baden Civil Merit Medal, Gold Grade Small Version, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Friedrich II, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central wreathed inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST” (“FOR MERIT”), the obverse engraver marked “RM” for Rudolf Mayer, Karlsruhe, measuring 29.98 mm in diameter, weighing 11.2 grams, demonstrating some softening of details, in better than very fine condition.
2. An Anhalt Friedrich Cross, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central raised monogram of Duke Friedrich II, situated within a circular oak leaf wreath, the six o’clock arm bearing an institution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm bearing a royal crown, the reverse bearing a central circular disc overlaid by a raised inscription of “FÜR VERDIENST IM KRIEGE” (“FOR MERIT IN WAR”), unmarked, measuring 37.34 mm (w) x 41.56 mm (h), weighing 14.4 grams, in extremely fine condition.
3. A Free City of Frankfurt 15-Year Long Service Award for Non-Commissioned Officers, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse bearing a central raised eagle, the arms bearing a raised inscription of “XV IAHRE TREUER DIENSTE” (“15 YEARS FAITHFUL SERVICE”), the reverse bearing a central raised and wreathed date of “1840”, unmarked, measuring 27.12 mm (w) x 31.09 mm (h), weighing 13.7 grams, a scarce decoration in extremely fine condition.
4. A Kurhessen Centenary Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a parade mount with a red wool liner and horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 39.50 mm in diameter, weighing 31.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), in extremely fine condition.
5. An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Combatants, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a parade mount with a field-grey wool reverse liner, consisting of a Cross Pattée with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing central wreathed dates “1914-1918”, the reverse maker marked with the logo of Reichsverband Pforzheim, measuring 38.05 mm (w) x 42.72 mm (h), weighing 17.9 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), in extremely fine condition.
