Germany, Imperial. A Mixed Lot of Heer Enlisted Ranks Belt Buckles

(Heer Gürtelschnallen für Mannschaften). A mixed lot of Heer Enlisted ranks belt buckles, including:

1. A group of seven Heer buckles, six of which are constructed of brass and nickel silver, supplemented by one all-brass example, the obverse of each bearing a central raised crown, situated within a circular ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and laurel branches, the reverse of six with loops and swivel attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, with the all-brass example featuring a slot in lieu of a loop, all unmarked and measuring approximately 61 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), some demonstrating minor denting, in overall near extremely fine condition.

2. One Prussian M1915 buckle, constructed of magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, situated within a circular ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “FURCHTLOS UNS TREW” (“FEARLESS AND LOYAL”), the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, unmarked, measuring 61 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
