In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Kriegsmarine Uniform für Korvettenkapitän). A Kriegsmarine Korvettenkapitän service uniform, consisting of:
1. A well-preserved tunic, constructed of a dark navy blue whipcord wool blend. It features a turned-down collar which transitions into double breast lapels, reinforced on the reverse with machine-embroidered darts. The cuff of each sleeve is adorned with three gold bullion wire tresses, topped by an oval wool patch bearing a five-pointed gold bullion wire star. Stitched onto the upper right breast is an insignia consisting of a dark navy blue wool backer bearing a gold bullion wire Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 100 mm (w) x 50 mm (h) overall. A narrow diagonal pocket is set into the upper left breast and is overlaid by threaded loops for the accommodation of a medal or ribbon bar, while two additional sets of threaded loops situated below the pocket accommodate decorations with vertical pinbacks. Six fire-gilded bronze buttons are stitched onto each lapel, all bearing raised fouled anchors. The buttons meet five reinforced buttonholes on their opposites for secure closure. The interior of the tunic is fully encompassed by a black rayon liner which transitions into off-white through the arms. Two interior pockets are set into each breast. Unmarked, the tunic measures approximately 44 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 60 cm, and an overall body length of 77 cm. Sporadic mothing is visible to the base material, with a large cluster to the upper right shoulder of the reverse, in addition to minor material fatigue consistent with age and field wear. It remains in a very fine condition.
2. A pair of trousers, constructed of an identical dark navy blue whipcord wool. Six black bakelite buttons are distributed around the waistband, while an integral belt at the back consists of two integral straps adjusted with a functional magnetic metal buckle. The trousers feature a French fly, closing with four bakelite and metal buttons, topped by a metal clip. Two side pockets open at the upper thighs with diagonal slashes, while two additional back pockets open with horizontal slashes and fasten closed with bakelite buttons. The interior features a partial cotton and rayon-blended liner around the waist and seat, also providing the interior structures for the pockets. Unmarked, the trousers measure approximately 45 cm across the waist, with an inseam of 37 cm, and an overall length of 118 cm. Sporadic mothing and material fatigue is visible throughout the base material, but the trousers remain in a very fine condition.
