An eight-point sunburst with the top, inner layer sunburst in matte grey cotton thread, the bottom, outer layer in bright, silver aluminum wire, the cross has a gilded circular cupal wreath with embossed laurel leaves and ribbons and a small banner with the date “1941” at the bottom centre, the innter edge of the wreath has a red thread border with an additional silver aluminum wire outer border on a white cotton base, the wreath encompasses an embroidered black swastika with an aluminum thread border on a white cotton base, the cross is mounted on a cut-out piece of blue-grey felt in the form of the inner starburst is the base of the cross, the reverse is unmarked and covered in common thin black paper, measures 72 mm wide, moderate wear along outer edges of sunburst, accompanied by cardboard box, and in fine condition.
