Germany, Luftwaffe. A Kampfgeschwader 153 Commemorative Plaque

(Kampfgeschwader 153 Erinnerungsplakette). Constructed of a black-painted wooden base, the obverse overlaid by a central silvered alloy medallion bearing a raised two-seater biplane in mid-flight, situated above a silvered plaque bearing an engraved inscription of “GEW. V. UFFZ. KORPS II./G /K.G. 153” indicating a dedication from the NCO corps of Kampfgeschwader 153, the reverse topped by a magnetic metal suspension loop, unmarked, measuring 16 cm (w) x 25 cm (h), demonstrating minor scratching to the wooden base with slight loosening of the metal fixtures, in better than very fine condition.
