Germany, Nsdap. A Long Service Medal Bar

(Ordensschnalle). A medal bar featuring two decorations, including:

1. An NSDAP 10-Year Long Service Award, constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled and ribbed arms, joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse bearing a central circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a central circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a raised inscription of “TREUE FÜR FÜHRER UND VOLK” (“LOYALTY FOR FÜHRER AND PEOPLE”), unmarked, measuring 42.21 mm (w) x 46.64 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish and oxidation throughout, in fair condition.

2. An Anschluss Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, the reverse bearing a central date of “13. MÄRZ 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.16 mm in diameter, demonstrating moderate loss of finish, in very fine condition.

Both suspended from a 50 mm-long magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, in near extremely fine condition.
