1) A driver’s license, constructed of linen in celluloid husk, issued to Ludwig Planz, born 26 September 1905 in Mainz, Germany, presents a photograph of Planz in a Polizei uniform, signed by Planz in blue ink, signed by the Police Director in black ink, measures 97 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
2) A certificate dated 31 January 1939 listing Planz’s weapons, signed in pencil by the Waffenverwalter (Weapons Administrator), measures 210 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), shows folding crease, and in good condition.
3) A notification alerting Planz of required shooting range training on 14 May 1939, measures 210 mm (w) x 154 mm (h), presents folding crease, and in fine condition.
4) A letter dated 31 October 1939 notifying Planz that from 1 November 1939 until further notice he is on leave without compensation, not entitled to take any official actions or wear a uniform, with envelope addressed to the Wachtmeister der Reserve Planz.
5) A message dated 31 October 1939 informing Planz of a meeting with the Police President of Wiesbaden, measures 210 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), shows folding crease, small tears, and in very fine condition.
6) A letter dated 10 December 1939 addressed to Ludwig Planz, informing him that permission is required before any trips abroad, signed in black ink by the Hauptmann der Schutzpolizei, measures 208 mm (w) x 150 mm (h), shows folding crease, small tears, and in very fine condition, accompanied by blue envelope.
7) A doctor’s note to Planz, dated 16 June 1942, measures 105 mm (w) x 147 mm (h), shows folding crease, and in very fine condition.
8) A discharge from the hospital and diagnosis of hemorrhoids, issued to Ludwig Planz, dated 26 September 1944.
9) A certificate of illness to Planz, dated 4 October 1944, from a hospital in Wiesbaden, diagnosing him with furunkel (boils) and sending him home sick from 23 November 1944 to 12 December 1944, shows treatment and dates on reverse, presents a folding crease, measures 149 mm (w) x 209 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
10) A Reichsnährstand ID named to Ludwig Planz, dated 1 September 1938, measures 104 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
11) A winter train timetable for the year 1943/44.
An invoice from Dr. Fürstenau dated 14 November 1943, measures 210 mm (w) x 297 mm (h), shows folding crease, and in fine condition, with envelope.
12) A prescription issued to Planz on 11 August 1944, measures 148 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), shows folding crease, and in fine condition.
13) A postal savings book to Hübert Peters dated 16 March 1945, measures 104 mm (w) x 145 mm (h), in addition to a corresponding Ausweis Karte and termination letter associated with the savings account.
14) A temporary registration with the Military Government of Germany, dated 9 May 1945, bilingual in German and English, states that Ludwig Planz is a duly registered resident of Wiesbaden and is prohibited from leaving the place designated, signed in black ink, includes Planz’s right index fingerprint, measures 209 mm (w) x 126 mm (h), shows folding crease, and in fine condition.
