Germany, Third Reich. A Deutsche Bank 25-Year Long Service Award in Silver, with Case, to Wilhelm Stüve

Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a banner bearing an engraved recipient’s name of “WILHELM STÜVE”, surrounding a central raised inscription of “FÜR 25 JÄHRIGE TREUE MITARBEIT” (“FOR 25 YEARS OF LOYAL EMPLOYMENT”), situated above dates “1914-1939” and below a mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised and ribbed German national eagle above an inscription of “DEUTSCHE BANK”, the edge stamped with a mark of “SILBER”, measuring 56.30 mm in diameter, weighing 80.6 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux maroon leather exterior liner, the interior with a padded white satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a depressed black velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 10 cm (w) x 10 cm (l) x 2 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
