Germany, Third Reich. A Funeral Sash from Reichssportführer von Tschammer und Osten, with Die Woche Cover

(Kranzschleife). Constructed of red rayon, the obverse bearing a silver inscription of “DER REICHS-SPORTFÜHRER”, with one end completing in a silver aluminum wire fringe retaining an internal metal reinforcement, otherwise unmarked, measuring 24.5 cm (w) x 116 cm (l), demonstrating moderate soiling and material fatigue and missing its other half, in very fine condition; accompanied by a 16 September 1942 issue of “Die Woche”, with the cover bearing a full-colour photograph of Reichssportführer Hans von Tschammer und Osten, retaining all interior pages, measuring 25 cm (w) x 32 cm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue and creasing, in better than very fine condition.
