(Auszeichnungen und Insignien). A mixed lot of awards and insignia, including:
1. A Wehrmacht 4-Year Long Service Award, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE IN DER WEHRMACHT” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE WEHRMACHT”), the reverse bearing a wreathed number “4”, unmarked, measuring 30.17 mm in diameter, weighing 11.4 grams, demonstrating surface tarnishing, in very fine condition.
2. A Radio Operator and Air Gunner Badge, cloth version, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a pair of lightning bolts, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 60 mm (h) the reverse demonstrating the remnants of an adhesive consistent with previous display, in extremely fine condition.
3. An Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with its arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, bearing a central white enameled disc overlaid by a black swastika, circumscribed by a raised inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 35.47 mm (w) x 45.86 mm (h), weighing 15.2 grams, in extremely fine condition.
4. A Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) cap insignia, constructed of aluminum, the reverse maker marked, bearing a Reichsleitung des Reichsarbeitsdiensts (RLAD) insignia, and a manufacture date of “38”, measuring 45 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), missing both attachment prongs, in very fine condition.
