(Insignien). A mixed lot of rank and trade insignia, including:
1. A matching set of Luftwaffe Flak/Artillery Feldwebel shoulder straps, each constructed of dark grey wool, trimmed with red piping, bordered by silver aluminum wire tresses, and bearing reverse integral straps perforated with reinforced buttonholes, both unmarked and measuring 50 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), demonstrating moderate material fatigue and mothing, in uniform-removed and overall very fine condition.
2. A Heer Infantry Oberstleutnant shoulder board, constructed of white wool with a card stock core, topped by four bands of interwoven silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with a single pip, the reverse with an integral strap perforated with a buttonhole, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 95 mm (l), demonstrating moderate soiling and material fatigue, in very fine condition.
3. A lot of three Heer Officer collar tabs, consisting of two left side tabs and one right side tab, each constructed of dark green wool with a buckram core and topped by silver aluminum wire insignia, both unmarked and measuring 40 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), demonstrating moderate material fatigue and sporadic loss of wire throughout, in overall very fine condition.
4. A Heer Obergefreiter rank insignia, constructed of silver aluminum wire with black machine embroidery, unmarked, measuring 78 mm (w) x 85 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
5. A second Heer Obergefreiter insignia, consisting of a dark green wool base topped by two silver aluminum wire chevrons, unmarked, measuring 80 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), demonstrating moderate material fatigue throughout, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.
6. A Heer Oberschütze insignia, constructed of a field-grey cotton/wool blended cloth base topped by a machine-embroidered silver-grey pip, unmarked, measuring 55 mm in diameter, demonstrating some soiling, in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
7. A Heer Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss, situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
8. A Schutzpolizei Revieroberwachtmeister shoulder board, constructed of carmine wool with a card stock core, topped by two bands of silver aluminum wire piping interspersed with black threaded chevrons surrounding dark brown piping, and pinned with a single pip, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.
9. A mixed lot of six Federal Republic of Germany shoulder boards and collar tabs, consisting of three matching sets, in extremely fine condition.
