Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Shoulder Boards for Military Administration and HJ Personnel

(Schulterklappen). A mixed lot of shoulder boards, including:

1. A matching set of Wehrmachtbeamte (Military Administration) Paymaster boards, each constructed of dark green wool with rigid card stock cores, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping bisected by a band of green threading, and pinned with a single gilded rank pip, both unmarked, and measuring 35 mm (w) x 120 mm (l), demonstrating material fatigue (resulting in a slash to the wool underlay of one board) and the removal of Heeresverwaltung devices, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.

2. AN HJ Oberkameradschaftsführer shoulder strap, constructed of black rayon, trimmed with red piping, bearing a red machine-embroidered numeral “508”, pinned with a silvered pip, wrapped with a silver aluminum wire tresse, retaining a pebbled button bearing a raised numeral “16”, and bearing a reverse integral strap, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 105 mm (l), in uniform-removed and better than very fine condition.
