Description

(Insignien). A mixed lot of cloth uniform insignia, including:

1. A Heer Gebirgsjäger Enlisted personnel sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. A Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service/RAD) cap insignia, constructed of olive-drab rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured RAD insignia, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), in uniform-removed and near extremely fine condition.

3. A 1934 pattern NSDAP/SA/SS cap eagle, constructed of silvered bronze, the reverse retaining all four attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 50 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), demonstrating sporadic loss of finish to the base metal, in very fine condition
