In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Hardcover, the front cover and back covers with photographs and incorporating a lacquered finish, entitled "NPEA Daggers and Associated Knives", by Ron Weinand, assisted by E. Mutzatko and M. Shaner, copyrighted and published by the author at Quincy, Illinois in 1988, this first edition limited to 2,000 copies, the text of the book in both English and German. It begins with a Dedication ("Dedicated to my children Laura and Chris for their tolerance with my project"), followed by a Table of Contents, a Preface by Thomas T. Wittmann (dated October 1988) and an Acknowledgements. The book contains eight sections: The NPEA (Nationalpolitische Erziehungsanstalten = National Political Educational Institutions), The Curriculum, The Location of Schools, Daggers of the NPEA, The NPEA Schools, NPEA Dagger Frogs, NPEA Students in the Hitler Youth, Daggers and Knives of the Hitler Youth. It concludes with a List of Current Market Values (c. 1988) and a Selected Bibliography. The book contains 152 pages of detailed text and photographs, printed in black ink, on a satin-finished white paper stock, measuring 155 mm (w) x 233 mm (h) x 11.5 mm (d). There is a piece missing at the bottom on page 151-152 (likely from a coupon having been cut out from an advertisement on page 152, or a previous owner's name having been deleted), with light scuffing on the cover, otherwise, the book is without marks and flaws. Better than very fine.
Reference Guide Shipping Policy: An additional shipping charge may be applicable following the time of purchase due to size, weight, and quantity. Please note that books cannot be shipped via Canada Post Flat Tracked method.
