(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber mit Etui). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, the pinback maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “26” for B.H. Mayer, Pforzheim, measuring 36.84 mm (w) x 44.40 mm (h), weighing 29.1 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, of two-piece card stock construction with a faux maroon exterior liner, the interior with a slotted maroon felt medal bed, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 68 mm (l) x 18 mm (h), minor loss of finish is visible to the badge, lid liner reinforced, in near extremely fine condition.
