In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Softcover, entitled "Order & Medals of Japan and Associated States" by James W. Peterson, O.M.S.A. Monograph No. 1, originally copyrighted in August 1967 by the Orders and Medals Society of America, 1992 reprint. It begins with an Acknowledgement, where it states that "This work is intended to cover the awards of the Japanese Empire, the Korean Empire, and Manchukuo. The latter two nations were closely associated with Japan and followed the Japanese system of orders. Decorations were also created by other Japanese-sponsored governments in Inner Mongolia, East Hopei, China, and the Philippines, but these awards do not show the influence of the Japanese system." It features in-depth descriptions of the various Orders, Medals, Badges, Cups, etc., along with photographs of the items, although the images appear to be a bit "washed out". It contains 116 pages, housing a wealth of information through the use of descriptive in-depth text, and is extensively illustrated with a plethora of black and white photographs, printed in black ink on a gloss white paper stock, the cover in a white card stock and printed in blue and black inks, perfect-bound, measuring 215 mm (w) x 280 mm (h) x 7 mm (d). There are creases evident on the back cover, however, the contents of the book remain unaffected. Near extremely fine.
Reference Guide Shipping Policy: An additional shipping charge may be applicable following the time of purchase due to size, weight, and quantity. Please note that books cannot be shipped via Canada Post Flat Tracked method.
