Two-piece construction, insignia in bronze gilt with red, white and blue enamels, with a lacquered finish, mounted to a chromed base with white enamels, measuring 38 mm (w) x 49.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, suspended from a 18.2 mm (w) x 40 mm (h) chromed hanger with blue enamels and a lacquered finish, accompanied by its 12 mm in diameter lapel badge in bronze gilt with red, white and blue enamels, with a lacquered finish, in its box of issue, near mint.
Footnote: The Mongolian Red Cross Society (MRCS) is the largest humanitarian organization in Mongolia. It was established in 1939 as part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and is an auxiliary to the Mongolian Government. MRCS serves vulnerable Mongolians through a volunteer-based network which promotes humanitarianism values and the principles of the Red Cross Red Crescent movement. With thirty-three midlevel branches and over 800 primary level branches across Mongolia, MRCS is able to service communities nationwide. The Humanitarian Silver Medal can be used to honour individuals, employees of the MRC and companies that have worked particularly for the goals, projects or the establishment of the Red Cross or Red Crescent Societies in Mongolia, but also internationally.
