In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

(Order Odrodzenia Polski). Instituted in 1921. Hardshelled design on both the lid and base, with distinctive angled corners, wooden-framed, the exterior with a red thatched-look cloth covering on five sides, the bottom with a red pebbled paper covering, the lid bearing the crowned Polish eagle surrounded by the inscription "POLONIA RESTITVTA" in gold-coloured ink, the sides trimmed in two thin gold-coloured rules, one on the lid and one on the base, inside lid lined in white satin-like cotton and padded, a white fabric-wrapped cardboard insert placed within the base and incorporating a raised platform in off-white felt for the awards, dual-hinged, single clasp closure, measuring 231 mm (w) x 167 mm (h) x 63.5 mm (d), wear and scuffing evident in the paper covering on the bottom, wear in the fabric overlying the hinged area, soiling present on the off-white felt on the raised platform, very fine.
Footnote: The Order of Polonia Restituta (Order of the Rebirth of Poland) is a Polish state order established on February 4, 1921. It is conferred to both military and civilians, as well as to foreigners, for outstanding achievements in the fields of education, science, sport, culture, art, economics, national defense, social work, civil service, or for furthering good relations between countries. It is awarded in five grades: Grand Cross, Grand Commander, Commander, Officer and Member. These versions were issued by the People's Republic with an uncrowned eagle. The Order of Polonia Restituta is sometimes attributed as a Polish successor to the Order of the Knights of Saint Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr, known as the Order of Saint Stanislaus, founded in 1765 by the last King Stanisław August Poniatowski of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, to honour supporters of the Polish crown.
