1. An Order of the Red Banner, Type IV, constructed of a silver with gilt and enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a pentagonal backplate with horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of gilded circular wreath, joined together at the bottom by a red enameled banner bearing silvered Russian Cyrcillic letters “СССР”, surrounding a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a bayonet, hammer, and plow, in turn bearing a red enameled star defaced by a silvered hammer and sickle on a field of white enamels, with a banner flag fitted through the star featuring a red enameled field overlaid by a silvered inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), the reverse stamped with a mark of “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, engraved with an issue number of “390561”, measuring 36.45 mm (w) x 45.57 mm (h), weighing 40.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), demonstrating minor flecking to the enamels, in extremely fine condition.
2. An Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Type IV, constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a cogwheel with white enamels filling the voids between the spokes, the edges bearing an inscription of “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!” (“WORKERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE!”), surrounding a central depiction of a hydroelectric dam with water executed in blue enamels, overlaid by a raised and gilded sickle and hammer, surrounded by a gilded oak leaf wreath, topped by a red enameled flag bearing initials “СССР” (“USSR”), set above wheat stalks joined together at the centre by a red enameled five-pointed star, the reverse maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the Soviet Mint, engraved with an award number of “129686”, measuring 37.76 mm (w) x 51.32 mm (h), weighing 49.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon and mount), demonstrating some chipping to the enamels, in better than very fine condition.
