1. Singapore Police Force Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, Type II - 1 Clasp denoting a second award for 15 Years' Service (Pingat Perkhidmatan dan Perilaku Baik Pasukan Polis Singapura). Instituted in 1994, Revised in 2004 (in silver, officially engraved with the date "9.8.01" (August 9, 2001) above "4903 PC KAMAL GURUNG" on the reverse, measuring 38.2 mm (w) x 42.7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral post suspension).
2. Long Service Medal, Type II (Pingat Bakti Setia). Instituted in 1962, Revised in 1996 (in silver, gilt Singapore coat-of-arms on the obverse, measuring 35.5 mm(w) x 38 mm (h) inclusive of its integral post suspension).
3. Singapore Police Force Good Service Medal, Type II (Pingat Perkhidmatan Baik Pasukan Polis Singapura). Instituted in 1994, Revised in 2004 (in silver, measuring 36.3 mm (w) x 43.8 mm (h) inclusive of its integral post suspension). Court-mounted, with swing bar pinback, original ribbons, extremely fine.

1. The Long Service Medal was instituted on April 19, 1962 and revised on August 2, 1996, awarded to any person for twenty-five years' exemplary government service.
2. The Singapore Police Force Long Service and Good Conduct Medal was instituted on April 1, 1994 and revised on April 30, 2004. It is awarded to officers in recognition of long and exemplary service and good conduct in the Singapore Police Force, after completing ten years of continuous qualifying service. The first clasp to the medal is awarded to an officer on completing fifteen years' service in recognition of his long and exemplary service and good conduct in the Singapore Police Force, while a second clasp is awarded upon completing twenty years' service in recognition of his long and exemplary service and good conduct in the Singapore Police Force.
3. The Singapore Police Force Good Service Medal was instituted on April 1, 1994 and revised on April 30, 2004. It is awarded for good, faithful and efficient service in the Singapore Police Force. 4. 4903 Police Constable Kamal Gurung, Singapore Police Force was awarded the Long Service Medal as part of the Ministry of Home Affairs awards, the announcement of the award published in the Singapore Government Gazette on August 9, 2001. Later, in the rank of Retired Captain (British Gurkha Army) Kamal Gurung was part of the Advisory Board of the Lotus Training Institute, the joint services academy of the British Gurkha Army, Gurkha Contingent Singapore Police Force (GCSPF) and Indian Gurkha Army, where pre-recruits of the three services: British Gurkha Army, GCSPF and Indian Gurkha Army are trained separately by highly experienced Ex-British Gurkha Army, Ex-GCSPF, Ex-Indian Gorkha Army and well trained Physical Training Instructors (PTI’s) along with professional education instructors before they go on to respective service for further enlistment. It is located at Nagdhunga, in Kathmandu, Nepal.
