A lot of three Slovakian trench art brass shell cases, including a large shell, with the exterior bearing etched floral designs, inscriptions, and dates of “1939-45”, the base with a stamped inscription indicating that the shell was harvested from a Czechoslovakian 3.7 cm anti-tank gun, measuring 48 mm (w) x 268 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a commemorative Eastern Front shell, the exterior bearing raised linden leaves and hand-etched inscriptions with dates “1941-1943”, the base stamped with markings indicating that the shell was harvested from a German 2 cm flak gun, measuring 50 mm (w) x 220 mm (h), with some denting evident, in overall near extremely fine condition, and; a postwar shell, the exterior bearing etched floral designs and an inscription of “PREŠOV 16. IV. 1948”, the base with calibre stamps and Cyrillic markings indicating that this example is a captured Soviet shell, in extremely fine condition.
