(Khrueang Ratcha itsariyaphon An Pen Thi Choetchu Ying Chang Phueak). Instituted in late 1861. (c. 1945 issue). Constructed of silver, featuring a starburst pattern with a central leftward-facing white enameled elephant, surrounded by a faceted ring, and a ring of alternating red and green petals, the reverse medallion with a red enameled character, on a period original neck ribbon, the badge is suspended from a gilded Thai crown suspension, hallmarked with unknown Thai characters on the reverse of the award and on the reverse of the crown suspension, measuring 54.2 mm (w) x 54.3 mm (l), weighing 46.48 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
