George VI, GRI. In silver, date engraved "1941" on the reverse of the arm at 6 o'clock, dark patina, indentation evident on the edge of the arm at 3 o'clock, pitting present on the reverse, contact marks overall, the original suspension with pinback having separated from the award's ribbon but accompanies it and is housed in the slot in the medal bed, original ribbon, near very fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, Georgian crown on the lid, inside lid in white satin and maker marked "Royal Mint", recessed and slotted medal bed in sandy white felt, light scuffing evident on the bottom, case better than very fine.
