.A China Relief Expedition Medal. The obverse shows the relief image of a dragon surrounded by the inscription CHINA RELIEF EXPEDITION 1900-1901, the reverse bears an eagle above the words FOR SERVICE, the upper contour of the medal bears the words UNITED STATES ARMY, on original ribbon in yellow and blue, 30 mm, very fine condition. 

Footnote: The China Relief Expedition Medal was instituted on27 June 1908 and was awarded to members of both the United States Navy and the United States Marines for service in the China Relief Expedition between 1900 and 1901 during the Boxer Rebellion. 

2. A Spanish Campaign Army Medal. The obverse shows a tower, the upper contour bears the words WAR WITH SPAIN flanked by laurel and palm leaves, the exergue bears the date 1898, the reverse bears an eagle above the words FOR SERVICE, the upper contour of the medal bears the words UNITED STATES ARMY, numbered 9575 on the edge, on original ribbon in yellow and blue, 30 mm, very fine condition. 

3.A China Relief Expedition Marine Corps Medal. The obverse shows a Chinese gate with a dragon in profile and an inscription reading CHINA RELIEF EXPEDITION 1900,  the reverse bears an eagle above the words FOR SERVICE, the upper contour of the medal bears the words UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS, on original ribbon in yellow and blue, 30 mm, very fine condition.

4. A China Service Medal. The obverse shows a ship at sea with the inscription CHINA SERVICE, the reverse bears an eagle perched upon an anchor with sprigs of laurel in its claws, flanked by the words FOR SERVICE, inscribed above the eagle is UNITED STATES NAVY, on the original yellow ribbon with red stripes, 30 mm, very fine condition.
