The medals in this lot include: 2 World War II Victory Medals; A European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign Medal; A Vietnam Service Medal; An American Defense Medal; An Army of Cuban Occupation Medal; A U.S. Navy Spanish Campaign Service Medal; A Haitian Campaign Medal; A Korean Service Medal; A Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal; An Army Good Conduct Medal; A Civil War Campaign Medal; A US Legion of Merit; and A World War I French Battle Medal. All medals in this collection range from fine to extremely fine condition. 

The miniatures in this lot include: 

A Purple Heart Miniature; A National Defense Service Medal Miniature; a Navy Good Conduct Miniature; A US Army Good Conduct Medal. All miniatures in this collection are in extremely fine condition. 

The pins in this lot include: A CORO Army-Navy Military Pin; and an unmarked gilded pin. All pins in this collection are in extremely fine condition. 

Footnote: 

The World War II Victory Medal was instituted on 6 July 1945 and was awarded for service between 7 December 1941 and 31 December 1946, both dates inclusive.

The European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal was awarded for service in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater between Dec. 7, 1941 and Nov. 8, 1945, under the same conditions described under those for the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal. 

The Vietnam Service Medal was instituted on 8 July 1965 and was awarded to all members of the U.S. Armed Forces who served in Vietnam and its contiguous waters or airspace, after 3 July 1965 through 28 March 1973. 

The American Defense Medal was instituted on 28 June 1941 and was awarded to recognize those military service members who had served on active duty between September 8, 1939, and December 7, 1941. 

The Army of Occupation Medal was instituted after the Second World War, on 5 April 1946, to recognize those who had performed occupation service in either Germany, Italy, Austria, Japan or Korea.

The U.S Navy Spanish Campaign Service Medal was instituted on 27 June 1908 and issued to any man of either the Navy or Marine Corps who had served in Cuban, Puerto Rican, or Philippine waters between 21 April and 16 August 1898 on select ships. 

The Haitian Campaign Medal was first established on 22 June 1917, and again on December 6, 1921 for American soldiers participating in the United States occupation of Haiti

The Korean Service Medal was instituted on 8 November 1950 and was awarded for service or participation in operations in the Korean area during the Korean War between June 27, 1950, and July 27, 1954.

The Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal was instituted in 1869 and was awarded to any active member of the United States military who demonstrates three uninterrupted years of honorable behavior in service. 

The Army Good Conduct Medal was instituted on 28 June 1941 and was awarded for exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity in active Federal military service.

The Civil War Campaign Medal was issued to officers and enlisted personnel of the Navy and Marine Corps who served in the naval service during the Civil War, between 15 April 1861 and 9 April 1865. 

The US Legion of Merit Medal was instituted in 1942 and was awarded for outstanding service, fidelity, and loyalty in either combat or noncombat positions.
