A Bronze Star, full size, unnamed, worn on correct ribbon with slot style brooch, in better than extremely fine condition. Accompanied by the small enamel ribbon bar with two horizontal pins on the reverse, also extremely fine condition.
A Bronze Star Document, denoting the recipient “Specialist Four Joseph Guerriero, 141-41-6781, United States Army” for “meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces in the republic of Vietnam from July 1969 to July 1970”, dated July 3 1970, light foxing to document, remains very fine.
A letter to Guerriero’s parents confirming their son’s arrival in the 132nd Assault Support Helicopter Company in Chu Lai.
Multiple black and white photos in full size and small size depicting the base and camp, aerial photos, helicopters (in flight and crash landings) and scenes of Vietnam.
A large number of negatives in envelopes.
Footnote: Specialist Four Joseph Guerriero served in the 132nd Assault Support Helicopter Company during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service on July 3, 1970.
