In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
A Royal Yugoslavian officer’s naval dagger, exhibiting the characteristics and quality of German made, measuring 410 mm in total length. The nickel-plated steel blade, magnetic, with semi-sharp edges and a sharp tip, measures 290 mm. Each side of the blade has been etched with foliage designs, one side presenting the crowned cypher of Alexander I Yugoslavia, the other side the coat of arms of Yugoslavia. The blade sits securely in a brass handle with a tombac crossguard. Inset into the obverse of the crossguard is a functional push-button release connecting to the spring clip which emerges from the blade’s ricasso. The handle is composed of a single piece of polished and lacquered bone with carved ribbing. The scabbard, constructed of gilded bronze shaft with a pebbled design around the majority, the bottom third of the obverse presenting a coat of arms of Yugoslavia. Two bands feature floral patterns with brass rings. The scabbard measures 290 mm in total length, bearing minor wear, both the blade and scabbard are in better than very fine condition.
