(Orden Jugoslavenske krune). Instituted in 1930. Type II with Laurel Wreath. In silver with red, white, green, light blue and dark blue enamels, measuring at 54.02mm (w) x 75.91 mm (h), weighing at 61.0 grams, intact enamels, very light contact, original full-length neck ribbon backed in the centre by a cravat pad with hook and eye, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Order of the Yugoslav Crown was founded by King Alexander I in 1930 to commemorate the unification of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia on October 3, 1929, when the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes was reduced to this new realm.The Order was conferred upon Yugoslavians and foreigners in recognition of meritorious civil and military service rendered to the King and Yugoslavia, for the country and the national unification.The Order was regulated under the influence of the Légion d'honneur; it was authorized with five classes on a single-colored ribbon.The Order was abolished along with the capitulation of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1941.
