1. two Orders of Merit to the Nation with Silver Rays, II Class (Orden Zasluge za Narod). Instituted in 1945. Two-piece construction, insignia in silver, mounted to a circular silver gilt base, marked "II" (Second Class), hallmarked with a rooster surrounded by a "B" and "II" (900 silver) within a hexagon-shaped border and numbered "47260" and "47836" on their reverses, measuring 41 mm in diameter each, maker marked "IKOM ZAGREB" on the screwback, both badges accompanied by two 38 mm (w) x 8.5 mm (h) ribbon bars each, both in their glassine packages of issue.
2. two Orders of Brotherhood and Unity with Silver Wreath, II Class (Orden Bratstva i Jedinstva). Instituted in 1943. Two-piece construction, in silver gilt with red and white enamels, hallmarked with a rooster surrounded by a "B" and "II" (900 silver) with a hexagon-shaped border, maker marked "IKOM" and numbered "60066" and "60082" on their respective reverses, measuring 47.7 mm (w) x 46 mm (h) each, maker marked "IKOM ZAGREB" on their screwbacks, one in its opened glassine package of issue. Un-Issued, intact enamels, mint.
Footnotes: 1. The Order of Merit to the Nation was instituted on June 12, 1945 and discontinued in 1991. It was awarded to those who distinguished themselves in the struggle for liberation and for merit in securing and organizing the Yugoslav government and army, and (from 1955) for achievement in the economic, cultural and social spheres, in three grades.
2. The Order of Brotherhood and Unity was instituted on August 15, 1943 and discontinued in 1991. It was awarded for the creation and promotion of brotherhood and unity at a time when Yugoslavia was occupied by German forces and resistance was divided by politics, nationality and other factors, in two grades.
