1. Order of the People's Army with Silver Star, III Class (Orden narodne armije). Instituted in 1952. Three-piece construction, insignia in frosted and gilt bronze with white enamels, mounted to a five-pointed silvered bronze star base, each star point with three wide emanating rays, with two smaller wide emanating rays between each star point, unmarked, measuring 69.5 mm (w) x 67 mm (h), vertical pinback, contact marks on the reverse. In its hardshelled case of issue, red dimpled exterior, marked in gold-coloured ink with the Yugoslavia coat-of-arms and inscribed "ORDEN NARODNE ARMIJE III. reda" on the lid, inside lid in white nylon and illustrating the Yugoslavia coat-of-arms in gold-coloured ink, the base with a medal bed in black felt and housing a raised tab for the order, measuring 102 mm (w) x 148 mm (h) x 39.5 mm (d), exhibiting light scuffing and wear on the exterior.
2. Order of Military Merit with Silver Sword, III Class (Orden za Vojne Zasluge). Instituted in 1951. Three-piece construction, insignia in frosted and gilt bronze with red enamels, mounted to an eight-pointed silver star base, each star point with seven emanating rays, with two emanating rays between each star point, hallmarked with a rooster surrounded by a "B" and "II" (900 silver) within a hexagon-shaped border and maker marked "IKOM" on the reverse, measuring 65.5 mm (w) x 65.2 mm (h), vertical pinback. In its hardshelled case of issue, ultramarine blue dimpled exterior, marked in gold-coloured ink with the Yugoslavia coat-of-arms and inscribed "ORDEN ZA VOJNE ZASLUGE III. reda" on the lid, inside lid in white nylon and illustrating the Yugoslavia coat-of-arms in gold-coloured ink, the base with a medal bed in black felt and housing a raised tab for the order, measuring 110 mm (w) x 132 mm (h) x 35.5 mm (d), exhibiting extensive scuffing and wear on the exterior. Both awards with intact enamels and together are better than very fine; the cases in very fine and better than fair condition, respectively.

1. The Order of the People's Army was instituted on January 1, 1952 and was discontinued in 1991. It was awarded for services to the Armed Forces, and for successful peacetime command, in three grades.
2. The Order of Military Merit was instituted on December 29, 1951. It was re-named the Order of Defence and Security in 1998. It was awarded to senior military and also civilians, both Yugoslav and foreign, for military merit, in three grades.
